DAILY OCCUPATIONS OF DAGESTAN UZDENIS IN THE SECOND HALF OF THE 19th – EARLY 20th CENTURIES

The subject of this research is the daily activities Dagestan freemen (commoners) – uzdenis in second half 19th early 20th century. In our research, we have applied procedural and modernization approaches. first approach considers everyday life as an ordinary, human existence, focusing on environment, social relations society. transition society from traditional to modern type, accompanied by breaking values, a change mentality. article applies historical-genetic historical-comparative methods. author describes for time activitis after annexation Russia. aims show changes that occured occupation under influence capitalist came Russian Empire. concludes occupations comprised forms agricultural production. basis labor activity uzden farms was economic experience previous generations. Farming different parts had its own peculiarities. It received special development flat foothill region with more arable land. mountainous zone, lack land forced farmers use artificial fields terraces created maintained several Terraces testify high agriculture centuries-old history Dagestan. addition agriculture, Dagestani were engaged cattle breeding, handicrafts, seasonal work, fishing. A major role Dagestanis played natural climatic factor, which dictated timing work. Thus, century, usual way peasant gradually changed.
